WHO AM I?
My name is Rodrigo Zanella, I'm a lifelong bicycle enthusiast, and there's nothing quite like exploring the world on two wheels. I've biked through various parts of Brazil, including the Trans-Amazonian, and also ventured through Germany, the Netherlands, and France.
By profession, I'm an economist, and I'm passionate about managing social causes in my free time. In 2017, I founded "Somewhere in Portugal" to share my love for cycling with new friends. Portugal is the land of my grandparents and is a treasure waiting to be uncovered. I believe that the fastest and most immersive way to do so is by bike.
I offer all kinds of cycling experiences in Portugal: guided tours, self-guided tours, transfers for groups, team-building, training camps. Take a look on some of the possibilities to get you started.

Amazing experience! The bikes were great, the route was breathtaking, the hidden lunch spot was spectacular. This ride exceeded all expectations. Rodrigo is a highly professional, informative, and fun guide/host. We could have never found the route that he took us on. Considering doing a multi-day ride with him when we return to Portugal.

Exceeded my expectation. Rodrigo was great, communicated extremely well prior to event, pickup was on time, the tour was fabulous, super scenic. The restaurant stop was excellent. Plan to hopefully do more rides with Rodrigo in the future. A must do if visiting Lisbon.

It was the most wonderful excursion!! Julian’s was excellent, attentive, helpful, made our ride the best excursion we have ever had. Beautiful sights, views, and conversation. Lunch stop was a very nice restaurant on the beach!! Rodrigo kept in communication as needed and Juliano was wonderful guide!!!!
